      Kindness

Kindness is showing concern about the well-being and feelings of others, and the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

Art of the Month

Made By: Mateo Ward

Grade: TK

This "jaw-some" art work is one of Mateo's master pieces. Mateo riminds us of how important friendship is in this "fin-tastic" piece of art.

The Person of the Month

Mrs. Fogle, is a retired teacher from Upland Elementary and she is the mentor of our news paper that you are reading.

What Does the Word Kindness Mean to You?

We asked 4 people what they thought the word kindness meant to them, and this is what they said:

"To me kindness is about friendship and how you treat others." Michel Dimmick tells us, "It is also making others feel happy."

"Kindness to me is how you treat people," Ashley Slater tells us, "it's an act to spread joy from one doing it to making another spread it on to another and so on."

"Kindness to me," says Taylor Montgomery, "is when someone stands up for someone even if you don’t know them."

"To me the word kindness is being nice and caring to people," Kylie Chambers says, "no matter who they are."
